The following drivers are free to download and should be updated about once every six months to keep your gaming computer in lean, mean fighting spirit.

Widows XP Drivers:

The drivers that do not require updating are included in the Drivers CD that came with your computer.  You have lost the CD, contact us and we will ship it to you.

The following drivers are free to download and should be updated about once every six months to keep your gaming computer in lean, mean fighting spirit.

ATI Radeon Mobility Laptop Video Drivers - until recently, updates to laptop video drivers were left to laptop manufacturers to program.  Recently, ATI has begun providing regular updates.  Here's to hoping nVidia will do so as well.

nVidia Go Laptop Video Drivers - This is a very large download and WidowPC puts a lot of effort into getting the most updated nVidia driver optimized for our gaming customers.  This is a password protected download from the our driver download server.  WidowPC customers may contact us to obtain the location and password.  Non WidowPC customers are welcome to leave their inferior laptops behind and join us by buying a WidowPC Sting laptop with "the best support" in the business. We also recommend the following programs for your gaming computer to keep it clean of hostile programs:

  • Mozilla Firefox (free download)) - it is nearly immune to spyware and is more efficient; don't get on the web without it
  • ZoneAlarm firewall (free download)- makes you invisible to hackers
  • Norton AntiVirus ($49.95 download)- this antivirus program is the most friendly to gaming and is one of the most effective anti virus programs

Well, I've been reading through the Widow PC for the last few days and I think I can safely say I've read through all the articles, blogs, etc. posted here.

One thing which really touched me was how open the company is and how dedicated they seem towards the customers (Positively outrageous customer service indeed!). And one doesn't have to be a customer... everyone is welcome here!

I'm really looking forward to purchasing a gaming laptop (sting 917) from here!

Keep up the excellent work guys!!

The Sting 517M is the most gorgeous laptop I've seen to any Toshiba model out there! Perfect architecture and stylish design alone makes me want to purchase it - yet the features inside are the real key. And WidowPC seem to be totally fair and generous in the basics and configurable add ons. Will be used more for music composing and synthesis by me, and am confident will perform as well as many AMD Dual Core laptops I've just been looking at. Plus, the real 'selling point' for me was the option for 'military discount'. Not only is this a commendable reward for people who risk their lives for honour... But the mere fact WidowPC are confident their machines maybe used on the actual 'front lines' as well as the 'officers mess' and will be supported regardless... I'm just freakin' SOLD that there's still an American company with that kind of commitment and courtesy in this day of age!

I'll bust my hump for WidowPC anyday!
