WidowPC Gaming Computers - Game Controller Ergonomics
Since my first medical case of carpal tunnel syndrom (CTS), game controller ergonomics has been something of a passion for me. I've taught myself to play games without bending my wrist at all. The phrase "It's all in the wrist" had to have been coined by a nongamer. For me, it's "all in the elbow". It might be a slightly slower response time, but at least I'm able to function without a grimace of pain.
Recently, PlayPhoria.com posted an interesting analysis of console controllers design and ergonomics. Personally, I prefer the WASD of computer gaming and find myself befuddled when attempting to be something other than fresh meat when using console controllers...but I digress. It's a highly recommended read, especially the ratings in flavors of coffee.
