nVidia's GeForce 7800 GTX is officially taking the gaming computer world by storm as of 3 hours ago! This is the large leap ahead in graphic performance that we have seen in a very long time.  PC World reports that the GeForce 7800 GTX set new speed records in just about every gaming test. It smashed the records with Doom 2 frame rates of 65 and 42 frames per second, respectively, at 1024 by 768 and 1600 by 1200 resolution. This beats the previous record holder (ATI Radeon x850 XT Platinum Edition by over 10 FPS.

Add to that, the 7800 GFX supports nVidia's SLI technology allowing two of these bad mutha's to run in tandem and you're looking at a possible 100 FPS in FarCry!! That's call taking the speed test records and stomping them into dust. This is a major step forward in GPU technology.
