WidowPC Gaming Computers - Gary Gygax rolls his last D20
Troll Games, a small board game developer and most recent employer of Gary Gygax, is reporting that Gary Gygax has passed away. For those of you unaware of this legendary man, Gary Gygax is known as one of the fathers of roleplaying games for his role as a co-inventor of the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. For the millions of new roleplayers playing World of Warcraft, you wouldn't have your daily addiction without Mr. Gygax. I think it would be very appropriate for everyone to login (or sit down with some dice) and raise a toast to Gary Gygax.
I have some personal experience with him. I can tell you he was one of the most down to earth, wonderful people I've met. With his celebrity status taken into account, his approachability and warmth qualified this man as an angel.
